I am writing to formally raise concerns regarding an ongoing issue with the truncation of my tracks on your platform. Over the course of several uploads, I have observed a consistent pattern of songs being shortened, often without any reasonable explanation. This issue affects multiple tracks, including those with political and non-political themes, and occurs despite my efforts to address it directly with your support team.

The facts are as follows:

Patterns of Truncation: Numerous songs I’ve uploaded have been significantly shortened during the remastering process. This truncation occurs regardless of the genre, theme, or subject matter of the song, including political, spiritual, and socially conscious tracks. For instance, songs such as “Zion, Zion” and “Blessed Be Dem (Reworked)” have been cut down from their original length, with most versions falling in a narrow time frame of approximately 1:14 to 2:35. This is an anomaly given the total length of the songs and the variety in content, suggesting that this issue is not simply due to technical glitches or system limitations.

Suspicion of Intentional Content Suppression: The consistent shortening of tracks, especially those dealing with themes of rebellion, social consciousness, and political messages, raises a significant concern. While I understand that technical issues may occur, the fact that multiple tracks of diverse genres are all subjected to this truncation leads me to believe that there may be an intentional action at play. The narrowing of song lengths across content with potentially controversial or non-mainstream messages aligns with behaviors often associated with content moderation or suppression.

Failure to Address Beyond Canned Responses: I have previously raised these concerns with your support team, only to receive generic, non-constructive replies that fail to address the issue in a meaningful way. The responses I have received do not acknowledge the pattern or even attempt to resolve the underlying cause of the truncation. I believe that this situation warrants immediate attention and a more in-depth investigation into whether the current issues are being caused by algorithmic limitations or intentional content filtering.

This pattern of truncation and the lack of substantive engagement with my concerns appear to point toward a troubling trend that is beyond technical oversight. The suppression of content—whether deliberate or a result of overly broad filtering systems—has the potential to limit artistic expression and stifle creators who use their platform to discuss important political, social, and cultural issues.

It is essential that either the platform’s moderation systems be clarified and adjusted, or an explanation be provided for the apparent selective truncation of certain songs.
